The 54th ARTIN meeting is to be held in York the 14th-15th of September 2018. It will start after lunch on Friday 14th, and finish before lunch on Saturday 15th.
The University of York has a historic building in the city centre, a short walk from the Rail Station. It is called The King's Manor, and this will be the venue of the meeting.
The schedule of the meeting is at the end of this message. The titles and abstracts of the talks will be circulated in the middle of August.
Registration is not required. Tea/coffee will be provided to all participants on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. However, for either occasion exact numbers need to be given to catering. Please let me know by Friday 31 August the latest, if you wish to have:
1) tea/coffee on Friday afternoon;
2) tea/coffee on Saturday morning.
There will be also a conference dinner on Friday evening at:
If you wish to partake of the dinner, please let me know by Friday 31 August the latest. Please note that for any cancellation not before the day of the dinner, the restaurant will charge us £35 per person not coming. The restaurant requires us to pre-order food, and the menu to choose from will be also circulated in the middle of August.
Accommodation will be provided to speakers, but other participants need to make their own arrangements. York is popular with tourists, particularly in September. If you wish to stay overnight, early booking is recommended. Everybody is welcome to attend the meeting!
