PG students qualify for free membership of the EMS for the duration of their studies. If you would like to become a member, please confirm this by sending an email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ems.membership@ed.ac.uk\">EMS membership<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lms.ac.uk\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">London Mathematical Society<\/a>. This is UK-wide learned society for pure mathematics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.epsrc.ac.uk\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EPSRC<\/a>&nbsp;fund many PhD students and postdocs in the UK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ams.org\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American Mathematical Society<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.euro-math-soc.eu\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Mathematical Society<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aims.ac.za\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">African Institute for Mathematical Sciences<\/a>. The Scottish Government supports this through the James Clerk Maxwell AIMS fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arsmathematica.net\/archives\/2007\/08\/17\/eureka-science-journal-watch\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EUREKA<\/a>&nbsp;Science Journal Watch. (Seems to have broken at the moment; use this&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/eurekajournals.org\/eureka\/index.php?title=Main_Page\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">link<\/a>&nbsp;instead). It is run by mathematicians, so particularly geared to mathematics journals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Main_Page\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>.
